Only six months into his new worldwide agreement with Prince Sports Europe, England squash star James Willstrop has already notched up six appearances in major event finals - and four trophies!

Within days of adopting the O3 Black racquet, the 24-year-old enjoyed a highly successful PSA Tour run which included winning the Prince English Grand Prix and Mamut English Open titles, as well as reaching the final of the US Open in New York.  Furthermore, he led England to a successful defence of the World Team Championship title in India in December.

On switching to the new Speedport Black racquet at the turn of the New Year - the latest advance in the brand's revolutionary new O3 technology - Willstrop progressed beyond his seeding to reach the final of the prestigious Tournament of Champions in New York.

And this month, the world No6 cruised to victory in the Case Swedish Open in Linköping, then returned home to win the British National Championship crown in Manchester - becoming only the second player in history to successfully defend the men's title!

Willstrop is clearly enjoying the best form of his life - his Swedish success marking the first time he has reached the finals in three successive Tour events, and the National success on home soil climaxing in a powerful victory over his club and country rival Lee Beachill, the three times winner of the title.

"The Nationals is a tough event - it's a big tournament and a very important one to me," said Willstrop after his popular success in the domestic event which attracted five players from the world top 20.
