Welshman Gavin Jones prevented an all-English final of the Baltimore City Squash Open when he upset top seed Alister Walker in the semi-finals of the new PSA Tour event in Maryland, USA.

Jones, the third seed, defeated the Leeds-based 23-year-old from Gloucestershire 11-7 11-5 3-11 11-3 to reach his second successive PSA final in North America.

The 25-year-old from Maesteg now faces second seed Ben Garner.  The 25-year-old from Surrey was taken the full distance by fellow Englishman Alex Stait before beating the fourth seed 9-11 11-0 9-11 11-4 11-5 to reach the fifth PSA final of his career.
