Boswell Tested In Mexico

Australian comeback King Stewart Boswell will contest his fifth successive PSA Tour final in three months - but had to fight back from two games down before overcoming Mexican Eric Galvez in the semi-finals of the Nutrigrain Kellogg's Queretaro Open Squash Championship in Queretaro City, Mexico.

After a two-year layoff while suffering from a mystery back ailment, the 26-year-old from Canberra - a former world No4 - has notched up four PSA titles in a row in Australia and New Zealand in a bid to reclaim his position in the world's top ten.

A qualifier for the fourth time on this comeback trail, Boswell made his breakthrough in Mexico when he toppled top-seeded compatriot Raj Nanda 11-3 11-9 11-2 in the quarter-finals.

But Galvez, the world No51 from Puebla, had the upper hand for the first two games in the semi-final.  Boswell, however, turned on his considerable experience to pull back the deficit before claiming a nervous 10-11 5-11 11-3 11-2 11-9 triumph - and a place in his fifth final in a row.

He will now meet Frenchman Jean-Michel Arcucci, the No2 seed who beat Canada's fourth seed Ian Power 11-6 11-7 11-5.
