Koukal Charges To Czech Treble

Czech squash star Jan Koukal celebrated his third PSA Tour win on home soil when he clinched the Hi-Tec & Dunlop Prague Open crown in the Czech Republic capital after beating England's Andrew Whipp in the final.

Koukal, the 21-year-old top seed from Prague, reached the final after surviving two tie-breaks in his semi-final against surprise opponent Badr Abdel Aziz, a qualifier from Sweden, to win 11-10 11-10 11-6.

Winner of the Czech Open just over a year ago, and the Czech Classic last October, Koukal secured his hat-trick of home-based international titles when he despatched second seed Andrew Whipp 11-7 11-6 11-3.
