Champions At Full Strength In First Semi-Final

Title-holders Manchester/Pontefract will be at full strength for tonight's (Tuesday) first semi-final leg against Team Chichester as the trans-Pennine cooperative begins the final countdown to become the first team since Potters Bar in 1997 to retain the National Squash League crown.

Both teams feature reigning British National champions - hosts Chichester led by women's champion Linda Elriani, the world No6, and the visitors by three-times men's champion Lee Beachill, ranked three in the world.  The Manchester/Pontefract team, beaten only once this season, also features James Willstrop, Marcus Berrett, Nick Taylor and Jenny Duncalf - while supporting Elriani in the Sussex team's line-up are Malaysian Mohd Azlan Iskandar, Peter Genever, Tim Garner and Tim Vail.

The other first leg semi-final tie, between Oberthur Strings Tewkesbury and Wolverhampton has been rescheduled to take place on 19 April - the same day that Chichester will visit Manchester/Pontefract to contest their second semi-final leg.

Wolverhampton will host Strings for the other second leg tie on Tuesday 3rd May.
