England Squash Appoint Harding As Media Director

England Squash have retained Howard Harding as Media Director to direct the association's PR activities.

Harding fulfils a pivotal role within the sport overall as World Media Director, in a combined role for the three international associations:  the World Squash Federation (WSF); the Professional Squash Association (PSA), the men's professional players' association; and the Women's International Players' Association (WISPA).

He also already performs a significant PR role for England Squash events, either for the association or its event partners. He is the press officer for the National League, the British National Championships and the British Open.

"I am extremely pleased to be appointed to this PR role with England Squash," said Harding.  "I'm excited about the opportunities and look forward to working even more closely with the association in highlighting its initiatives and successes."

Harding has a long background in squash having promoted the National Championships and British Open in the mid 1980s, as well the Champion of Champions event.  He is also currently retained by the European Squash Federation and Prince Sports Europe.

"Working in partnership with Howard Harding will be a great benefit to England Squash," said Chief Executive Nick Rider.  "His PR and media experience is unsurpassed and I am looking forward to using this both to raise our profile and to spread the word about squash to a wider audience."

Harding will be working closely with England Squash's recently-appointed Communications Coordinator Lianne Price.
